Background
I founded DUI Evaluation & Treatment Services with a straightforward goal: provide honest, professional substance abuse evaluations and treatment in a setting where people feel respected. Over the past 20-plus years, that mission hasn't changed.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, and my practice is licensed through the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (IDHS DBHR), License #A-4541-0001-A. That license authorizes me to conduct the DUI evaluations and treatment programs required by Illinois courts and the Secretary of State.
Approach to Evaluations
Every evaluation I conduct follows the ASAM Criteria, 4th Edition β the national standard for substance use assessment and treatment placement. This isn't a checkbox exercise. It's a thorough, individualized assessment that looks at your specific situation and determines the appropriate level of care.
I believe in being direct with clients. When you sit down for an evaluation, I'll explain the process, answer your questions, and give you a clear picture of where things stand. No unnecessary jargon, no runaround. Most evaluations are completed within an hour, and you'll leave with your documentation the same day.
Services
In addition to DUI evaluations, I provide the full range of court-ordered treatment programs β Driver's Risk Education, Early Intervention Services, and outpatient treatment. I also prepare the documentation required for Secretary of State administrative hearings, both formal and informal, for clients seeking license reinstatement.
I work with clients in person at my Springfield office and via telehealth for anyone in Illinois or out-of-state clients who need an Illinois evaluation. Virtual evaluations are held to the same professional standard as in-person sessions.
Springfield and Beyond
My office is located at 1999 Wabash Ave, Suite 209, in Springfield, Illinois. I've served clients throughout Sangamon County and central Illinois for over two decades, and through telehealth, I now work with people across the state and across the country who need help navigating the Illinois DUI system.
